Born in the Ukraine, Ilona Khaytsis is fluent in both Ukrainian and Russian. After her arrival in the United States she quickly learned English and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the City University of New York. Prior to joining ICTJ, she worked for All State Insurance Company as the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Maimonides Medical Center Stroke Center as Administrative Program Coordinator and Dedicated Digital Commerce, Inc. as a Marketing Specialist.

Ilona was on the Dean’s list at CUNY-Brooklyn College where she received an Award in Russian literature from Foreign Language Development Studies. While at Maimonides Medical Center she volunteered as an interpreter for patients, translating medical lectures and articles.
